Lone Star Expeditions

Lone Star Expeditions is a therapeutic intervention in Texas that combines traditional therapy with a wilderness setting to engage students ages 13-17 in exploring their character in a safe, but challenging environment.

Lone Star focuses on assessment and intervention to in a forested, camp-like surrounding. The rustic environment removes modern distractions and simplifies choices for troubled teens. This allows students the opportunity to gain insight into their values and accept responsibility for their decisions. As the students and their parents progress through the program's four phases, students experience success and develop healthy self-esteem while working to improving family relationships.

The Masters level therapists at Lone Star specializing in helping adolescents who are experiencing family conflict due to substance use, low self-esteem, and negative peer relationships. While at Lone Star, each student will receive an individualized treatment plan, individual and group therapy and family therapy sessions.
